Cremorne Digital Hub has curated an exhibition of teams from Victorian Universities, TAFEs and other career pathway providers to help Tech Leads and Hiring Managers explore the diversity of opportunities for engaging emerging tech talent. Through programs like internships, mentoring, graduate placements, industry projects and more, Industry Tech Leaders can incorporate fresh perspectives in their projects, scale their team, leverage new pipelines of diverse talent or benefit from the skills of subject matter experts.
Engagement examples from work-integrated-learning and other programs can include:
- Guest lectures and industry/careers panels
- Workshops
- Hackathons
- Industry-linked projects
- Internships (up to 3 months)
- Placements (3 to 12 months) in duration
- Mentoring
What to expect
This event will be facilitated as an expo where exhibitors will showcase their unique programs for talent engagement.
Exhibitors will also participate in 2 short Q&A panels:
- Industry, students and providers will share their insights and experiences with previous programs
- Tech diversity talent enablers will demonstrate ways employers can attract and develop a more diverse workforce.
